May 6 – 8, 2016 | 10am – 7pm | SMX Convention Center
The local food trade landscape – influenced by a host of factors including strong economic gains, the opening of trading gateways to ASEAN member countries, a growing population, changing of demographics and the shift towards healthier foods, is quickly evolving.
With this, food industry players need to adapt to the changing demands in order to remain competitive.
It is against this backdrop that the Philippine Food Processors and Exporters Organization (PHILFOODEX) will stage the 13th Philippine Food Expo on May 6 to 8 from 10am to 7pm at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.
With the theme, “Emerging Trends in Food Trade”, the 13th Philippine Food Expo will highlight the changes in the food industry and allow companies to adapt to market demands, identify suppliers and partners, and get to know the Philippine food industry and become more competitive in the process.
This year, over 300 companies composed of local food manufacturers, growers and exporters, equipment, ingredient and additive companies are expected to take part in this biennial event.
The Philippine Food Expo is a must-visit event for everyone from the daily Filipino consumers to international traders and importers of food products. They will be hosting a series of technical and business sessions, product demonstrations, special events and culinary competitions that will be conducted during the event.
The Philippine Food Expo is organized by the Philippine Food Processors and Exporters Organization (Philfoodex) Inc., in cooperation with Philexport, the Deparment of Agriculture and the Department of Trade and Industry.
They also have the support of the Philippine Okra Producers & Exporter Association, Philippine Mango Exporters Foundation Inc., Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Employers Confederation of the Philippines.
